Turbo "Turbo Lady" is a red-footed tortoise. We got her from Jeremy's best friend Jonathan around Christmas time of 2003. She lived in the dorm with me for a while until it got too hard to hide her (no animals allowed—except fish). So she was then moved to Jeremy's apartment, but the pain of transporting her back and forth between home and school became too much, because her tank was really heavy. So finally, she moved into my parents' sunroom, and that's where she is to this day. After a minor accident with a TV (Turbo was fine), she had to get a new, bigger tank, and she loves it in there! In fact, afer years of staying tiny, she's finally started to grow, and she's huge, thanks to her bigger living quarters. Now all that's left to do is wait and see if Turbo outlives all of us. She's supposed to live to be 99-years-old, so she may end up being the only animal that we have to put in our wills.
